Further develop your knowledge of R and learn practical methods for data processing. You will also be introduced to vibe coding and ChatGPT as tools to understand, develop and improve your code.

Er studiekurset for dig?
You are a student and use R in your studies or in your student job and want to acquire data processing skills or more programming experience in R. You have basic experience with R, are familiar with the main elements of the RStudio user interface and are also curious about how you can actively use vibe coding and AI to help you understand, write and improve code.
It may be an advantage if you have attended the course ‘Introduction to R – with vibe coding and ChatGPT’, where the basic functions of R and the RStudio user interface are presented. It is not a requirement that you have attended this course, but it is expected that you have some knowledge of the general R user interface.
Om studiekurset
In this course, you take the next step from an exploratory approach to data and begin the more complex data processing that is necessary to generate valuable analyses. You learn how to import data from various sources and gain specific skills in using functions that can clean, process and manipulate data. Among other things, you will work with handling missing values, recoding data types, filtering and sorting, as well as adding, removing and restructuring columns.
As part of the course, we work actively with vibe coding and how you can use generative AI as an interactive assistant in your work with R. In this context, you will gain practical experience in how ChatGPT can be used to get inspiration, find solutions, correct errors and adapt code, so that you both learn to write your own scripts and at the same time can use AI to develop them further and make your work more efficient.
The course alternates between presentations of topics and practical exercises within each topic. During the course, you will be given data material that you must use to solve the exercises. You will receive a solutions file after the course.
The main purpose of the course is to strengthen your competencies in data processing and provide you with concrete tools in R and RStudio, so that you are able to clean, restructure and prepare data for more in-depth analysis.
