You are a student and use Excel in connection with your studies or student job. You already master the basic tools in Excel and now want to take your skills to the next level.
The course is especially relevant for those working with larger datasets - including finance-related datasets such as cash-flow inputs, financial assumptions, and structured financial data.
To participate in the course, you should be familiar with the basic functions in Excel. If you are unsure about your level, we recommend that you first attend the student course Excel 1 - Introduction with AI or Excel 2 - Effective Functions with AI.
In this course, you will learn how to combine Excel’s analytical tools with generative AI to work faster and smarter with data.
You will gain insight into how AI can assist you in analysing, summarising, structuring, and presenting larger datasets - directly within your Excel workflow.
Where relevant, examples and exercises will draw on Corporate Finance contexts, such as structuring financial data, organising model inputs, and supporting investment evaluation.
You will also be introduced to useful keyboard shortcuts and techniques for navigating quickly and efficiently in larger spreadsheets.

The teaching alternates between presentations, practical examples, and exercises, ensuring that you gain hands-on experience with the tools and techniques covered.
You must have Microsoft Excel 2016 or a newer version installed on your computer - preferably Office 365. It does not matter whether you use Mac or Windows.
We use ChatGPT as our generative AI tool. You do not need a paid subscription to participate.
