Finding a job in Denmark is not always easy, especially if you don’t speak Danish. With only around 21% of jobs being posted, the rest are filled through networking and unsolicited, so you need to be part of those statistics and create opportunities for yourself. Networking is often described as essential, yet doing it well requires intention and skill.
Djøf has partnered with Leslea Petersen and English Job Denmark, an organisation that is run by internationals for internationals. Leslea will share her networking wins over the last 18 years to guide you in the process.
The workshop will cover:
- Networking in Denmark.
- Step-by-step guidance in building connections and how to reach out effectively.
- How to develop your elevator pitch.
- How to build your network and ask for recommendations.
- Where to network.
- How to feel comfortable networking as an introvert.
This workshop will help you to create job opportunities by increasing your network game and strategising for maximum effect. You will leave with a toolbox of ideas and an elevator pitch that works.
