The course is aimed at students who already use Excel in their studies or student jobs and want to expand their foundational skills with tools to analyze larger amounts of data.
You can already navigate Excel and perform simple data processing. If you are not familiar with the foundational tools, we recommend participating in the course: Excel 1 - Introduction with AI first.
Om studiekurset
In this course, you will learn to:
- Apply practical functions for effective data analysis in Excel
- Navigate the spreadsheet lightning-fast using keyboard shortcuts
- Use data processing tools and activate worksheet protection in Excel
- Perform simple analyses using Goal Seek
- Extract specific data using logical functions
Alongside this, you will gain practical experience with how generative AI can assist you in understanding Excel better, finding solutions, and working faster.
The teaching is compact and effective, alternating between presentations, practical examples, and exercises, ensuring you get hands-on experience with the tools and techniques you learn. You will receive a solution file after the course.

You must have Microsoft Excel 2016 or a newer version installed on your computer - preferably Office 365. It does not matter whether you use Mac or Windows.
For online courses, please ensure that both your audio and webcam are working, as the teaching is interactive. We start with a technical check approximately 15 minutes before the course begins.
We use generative AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude - you do not need a paid subscription to participate.
