About the event

Many of the big questions in social sciences deal with cause and effect. In 2021 the Nobel Prize in Economics went to David Card, Joshua D. Angrist and Guido W. Imbens for their contributions to the understanding of the labour market and how to use natural experiments to draw conclusions about cause and effect.

Socialøkonomisk Samfund are proud to present the annual Nobel Prize Lecture on the Laureates David Card, Joshua D. Angrist and Guido W. Imbens, and their method, which has helped to revolutionise empirical research.

The prize winners and their contribution to the research will be presented on Wednesday the 2nd of March at 17:00 by Daniel le Maire in auditorium 35.01.06, CSS, University of Copenhagen.
We look forward to seeing you!

Please note that this event will be in English.
